Do not move the deceased or its surroundings
It is important not to disturb the deceased or anything in the surrounding area until the police have attended.

Call your nearest Police Station
Contact your nearest police station to come and attend to the scene.

The deceased will be moved by the Police to (FPS) Forensic Pathology Services
The police will arrange for the deceased to be transported to FPS Forensic Pathology Services. This is a legal requirement and is handled by the authorities.

No arrangements can be made until released
We suggest that no funeral arrangements be made until the deceased has been released from the (FPS) Forensic Pathology Services. We will keep you informed throughout this process.
